Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Secure Code Review Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in Mississauga, ON, Canada, with the option for remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing software code to identify and rectify security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough security reviews of application source code.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.
- Prepare and present reports on findings and remediation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience in secure code review, software development, or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of code scanning tools and methodologies.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong emphasis on being a team player and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
